Personal Training…

is the assessment of a client’s physical strengths and weaknesses, compensation patterns, posture, etc to create a customized workout plan. Personal trainers provide physical and mental guidance, make modifications as needed and monitor clients’ progress. There are many kinds of trainers and many kinds of training philosophies.

Functional Personal Training…

is the classification of exercise where the focus is on training the body to perform activities found in everyday life. Functional Personal Training is for every one* and all levels of physical activity. EVERY BODY is a good body for functional training and modifications can be made at all levels of physical fitness. Functional Personal Training uses exercise to help strengthen the body and reduce pain caused by compensation patterns. Functional Personal Training can be very targeted in scope of individual exercise but helps the entire body. Though in person sessions are required for first appointments, video training sessions may be available. (Masks are encouraged in person.)

I am an ACE certified pro and am NCCA accredited.

*It is always a good idea to get doctor’s approval before starting training. In some cases it is required before starting training.
